New Releases This March

This month we’re delighted to share two thoughtful new titles that explore the following question in different ways: what does it look like to be a faithful Christian in the face of suffering?

In a world that longs for all things to be made new – whether it recognises that longing or not – our March new releases invite us to grapple honestly with pain while learning to cling more closely to God.

From stories of healing happening today to a careful exploration of one of the Bible’s most searching books on suffering, these new releases encourage us to engage both hope and hardship with faith.

605 Everyday Miracles: Learning to Do What Jesus Did, Today

Chloe Swart

In 605 Everyday Miracles, Chloe Swart invites readers to listen to stories both, from the Bible and from today, that can shape the way we pray and the way we see God at work in the world.

Building on research that began with an unexpected PhD, Chloe shares some of the more than six hundred accounts of healing that have taken place in everyday contexts. These are not distant or dramatic stories from faraway places, but moments where ordinary people have prayed and seen God move in surprising ways. Alongside these accounts, she reflects on what Scripture teaches about prayer, faith and the ministry of Jesus, helping readers grow in confidence as they pray for others.

The result is both encouraging and challenging. Chloe invites us to move beyond seeing healing as something rare or reserved for special moments, and instead to recognise that Jesus continues to work through his people today. Through biblical reflection and contemporary stories, the book gently encourages readers to pray more bravely, expect more from God, and step into the kind of faith-filled life Jesus modelled.

This is a book for the doubter, the hopeful, the seasoned prayer warrior — and the version of yourself that doesn’t always feel like any of those things. Chloe reminds us that Jesus came so that we might have life to the full, and that even the most ordinary circumstances can become places where God’s healing and grace are revealed.

Job (Tyndale Old Testament Commentary)

W. Dennis Tucker

We are also pleased to publish a brand-new volume in the trusted Tyndale Old Testament Commentary series. In this new commentary on Job, W. Dennis Tucker - Professor of Christian Scriptures at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary engages the wealth of theological and exegetical work that has been done on the book in recent decades.

Replacing Francis I. Andersen’s much-loved earlier volume, Tucker offers a careful and accessible guide to a book that speaks directly to the reality of human suffering. Job’s anguish, the well-meaning but often unhelpful responses of his friends, and his own struggle to understand God’s ways echo experiences many readers will recognise.

The commentary explores Job section by section, drawing out key themes while also addressing particular interpretive questions. Each passage is structured around Context, Comment and Theology, helping readers understand both what the text says and why it matters.

Designed for pastors, students and thoughtful readers of Scripture alike, the Tyndale Commentaries aim to make the meaning of the Bible clear and accessible- and this new volume continues that tradition.

Together, these two titles offer different but complementary ways of engaging the realities of suffering, faith and hope. One invites us to notice and participate in God’s healing work in everyday life; the other helps us wrestle deeply with Scripture’s most profound reflections on suffering and trust in God.

Whether you’re looking for encouragement in your prayer life or a resource to deepen your understanding of the Bible, these March releases offer thoughtful companions for the journey of faith.
