It's been an exciting year of publishing here at IVP - with all our planned books happening, and exciting additions like Healthy Faith and the Coronavirus Crisis and A Better Hope dropping in as we reacted to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our passion as a team is opening up and explaining the Bible - so that people can meet Jesus. Our final releases of the year are intended, in different ways, to do just that.
Robin Routledge, author of Old Testament Theology and Old Testament Introduction, has written a fantastic new commentary on Hosea. In the Tyndale Old Testament Commentary Series, this new book balances readability with serious scholarly engagement. It's perfect for preachers, and also for serious devotional study. You can preorder your copy in paperback or ebook now!
The latest edition to the NSBT series is The Servant of the Lord and His Servant People, by Matthew S. Harmon. This volume carefully traces the theme of servanthood through the Bible - showing the reader the power of servant leadership and the way that many of the key figures in salvation history were, at heart, servants. You can preorder your copy in paperback or ebook now!
Finally for 2020, we've got two new updated and revised volumes in the Bible Speaks Today series. Written by New Testament Series Editor John Stott, whose centenary we celebrate next year, The Message of Ephesians and The Message of Galatians are available to order now.
