Christians declare that in the person of Christ God comes to humanity. In Hebrews 12:2 we read that in going to the Cross, Jesus 'despised' 'scorned' or 'disregarded' the shame associated with it. Shame is a very real part of our world, and something that the Bible has much to teach us about. With that in mind, we are delighted to publish this month Simon Cozens' new book, 'Looking Shame in the Eye', which blends deep bible reading and research with his own personal story of engaging with shame.
