The IVP July 2020 Releases

New From IVP July 2020

Our partnership with the Keswick Convention continues to bear fruit, with three of our four titles this month linked to the convention theme.

The Food for the Journey series of undated 30-day devotionals, drawn from the rich vaults of Keswick bible teaching and edited by Elizabeth McQuoid see the latest volume published this month. Following on from 'Persevere' and 'Joy', already published this year, 'Pray' is, according to Julian Hardyman, "the ideal re-boot for a flagging devotional life. It is warm and biblical and practical. I will be recommending it to lots of people.". You can order your copy in paperback or ebook now!

One name synonymous with Keswick for many is Peter Maiden. We are humbled to be publishing Peter's final book, 'Radical Gratitude: Recalibrating your heart in an age of entitlement', this month. Paul Mallard writes that "this book is inspiring and moving, as well as being radically counter-cultural. Read it and be blessed." You can order your copy, in paperback or ebook, now.

Sam Allberry, author of 'Lifted', 'Connected' and many other books, has a new ebook for our present moment. 'A Better Hope: Enjoying the Resurrection Life' is reformatted from his 'Lifted' as it is especially timely for the present moment, has a foreword by Vaughan Roberts, and is an inspirational and encouraging little book for a time when many feel without hope. You can order your copy now

Designed both for serious students and for general readers of the Bible, the Pillar New Testament Commentary volumes seek to make clear the meaning of the text of Scripture as we have it. We are excited to be publishing the revised and updated second edition of Colin G. Kruse's 'The Letters of John' this month. You can preorder your copy, in hardback or ebook, now. [Edit- preorder only, now publishing in August]

As well as this month's releases, we'd also recommend the previous Food for the Journey devotionals, 'Persevere' and 'Joy'.
