The IVP April 2020 Releases

This month our publishing focuses on understand the message of the Bible, with a brand new commentary in the Tyndale Old Testament Series, and five BST volumes with a brand new look.

The books of 1 and 2 Samuel tell the stories of Samuel, Saul and David, some of the most memorable in the Old Testament. Yet the lives of these individuals are bound up in the larger story of God's purpose for his people. V. Phillips Long offers a new entry into the TOTC series, with this helpful commentary. You can find out more about 1 and 2 Samuel and preorder your copy here.

The Bible Speaks Today series have been equipping preachers, leaders and disciples of Jesus for years. While we often got great feedback about the content, we've consistently had less than positive praise for the style and feel of the books. We are delighted that, alongside the launch of the NIV Bible Speaks Today Study Bible, the reissue of the BST series has begun! These classic, timeless books are being completely redesigned, to be more readable, with updated language and a fresh feel. The first batch are the Gospels, and John Stott's timeless study of the Sermon on the Mount. Keep your eyes peeled for more news about the relaunch of the BST series, as we've got lots of exciting things to share. For now, though, click on the links below to find out more about, and preorder, the individual titles.
