Resurrection: fact or fiction?

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the central belief in Christianity. Although it is often dismissed as a fantasy or wishful thinking, the first followers of Jesus were so convinced that they had met the risen Jesus that they were prepared to die for that belief.


This booklet considers some of the evidence for the resurrection, showing why the alternative explanations make less sense than the resurrection. It encourages the reader not only to consider the strength of that evidence but also the significance of the resurrection for each one of us today.
