Are you a busy disciple struggling to spend time with Jesus? You're not alone.

Come Away with Me is a counter-cultural invitation to step away from the busyness of life to rediscover the endlessly compelling person of Jesus.

It is designed to be read anywhere, whether on a crowded train or in a contemplative moment in the sun and invites us to take Jesus’ invitation to "come away" seriously.

Reflecting on six key moments from Mark's Gospel, Bishop Ruth offers a fresh vision of the cosmic, eternal, and divine nature of Christ.

Each chapter explores some of the most familiar passages of Scripture with care and insight, from the call of the first disciples to Jesus' Transfiguration.

This title is a retreat in a book, which can be used as a weekly devotion through Lent or any time of year. It is ideal for anyone seeking to deepen their faith, find true rest and experience spiritual renewal.
Ruth Bushyager (Author)
Ruth Bushyager is bishop of Horsham in the Diocese of Chichester, a role she has held since 2020. Prior to this, she served as the vicar of St Paul's Dorking, a Missioner in London, a school chaplain in Oxford, and ministered in Abingdon, Nottingham and Bristol. Ruth lives in Sussex with her husband, two children and a delinquent cockerpoo.
