The IVP January 2020 Releases

A New Year brings with it our first new releases of 2020 - and we've got three very different but very brilliant books to share with you.

Living with schizoaffective disorder and being a qualified medical doctor gives Sharon Hastings a unique perspective on life. From her own experience, and deeply rooted in the Bible, she has written her first book with us, Wrestling With My Thoughts: A Doctor With Severe Mental Illness Discovers Strength. This is a passionate and personal book, which will be a genuine support to those living with severe mental illness, and for those who live alongside and care for them. You can find out more about, and preorder, Wrestling With My Thoughts on our website here.

God in Himself: Scripture, Metaphysics And The Task Of Christian Theology is a new entry in our growing Studies in Christian Doctrine and Scripture series. In this excellent new book, Stephen Duby considers the role of both Scripture/special revleation and natural revelation/metaphysics in knowing God. One Roman Catholic scholar wrote that this is "A seminal work and one of the most compelling restatements of the classical Reformed doctrine of God provided in a generation".
